Dubai

Dubai is really becoming one of the hottest destinations for holidaymakers these days and has more than earned its place as a star location on the world stage. A flamboyant, sun-kissed playground for thrill seekers, shopaholics and sun worshippers, Dubai is the place to be.

Glamour and luxury seem to be the order of the day and you’ll find both in plentiful supply once you reach this jaw-droppingly awesome metroplis. Dubai really has become the success story of the Middle East and offers world class facilities and top drawer hospitality for the discerning holidaymaker. There’s so much to see and do that the only problem you’ll have is fitting it all in to a week or two week break. Here, you’ll create magical memories to last a lifetime, although we suspect if you go once, chances are you’ll go back for more…again and again. Dubai will give you a rich cultural experience set against the most mesmerizing backdrop and you have the best of both worlds in that there’s the bright lights of the big city and all the glitz and glamour that it brings but there’s also the mystical vibe of the desert and the hypnotic landscape of the sand dunes.

Essential info:
When to go: November to March is best for the most comfortable temperatures whereas in the summer months, the thermometer can nudge the high 40s. There are good prices to be found at this time of year but you’ll pay for it with sweat in the scorching heat. It’s generally better to enjoy Dubai when you can cope with the temperature.

During the Holy Month of Ramadan you may find some places are closed and alcohol restrictions may be in place so do check this out before you plan your trip.
